Join me in the cave

I am Ida Cavewoman, an American-born Nordic Folk Healer and Somatic Guide. My work blends nature-based embodiment, ancestral healing, and European folk traditions, guiding modern humans to reconnect with their bodies, lineage, and natural selves.

At Caveside Wellness in Gladstone, Oregon, I offer somatic movement classes, embodiment workshops, yoga and stretching, guided breathwork, self-massage, shamanic journeys, meditation, and private healing sessions. I also teach at partner studios throughout Multnomah and Clackamas County, bringing wellness classes and workshops to the broader Portland area. All of my offerings are designed to help you release tension, process stored emotion, and support nervous system balance.

Somatic practices are a powerful complement to talk therapy, allowing emotions, trauma, and life experiences to be physically released and supporting deeper, embodied healing.

Whether you join me at Caveside Wellness or one of my other locations, I provide a safe, welcoming sanctuary—deep inside the cave—where you can explore, heal, and feel fully at home. Schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation to begin your journey toward embodiment, emotional release, and somatic wellness today.

“From the moment I met Ida, I could feel her authenticity and wisdom. I’ve been working with her in various capacities for over a year now and recommend her to everyone I know. She has changed my life.”

A mythical, troll-like creature with long, tangled hair and a large nose leaning over a stone table inside a cave, with a white cat-like creature with a crown and long flowing hair nearby.

They call me Troll;
Gnawer of the Moon,
Wealth-sucker of the Giant,
Seeress's friendly companion,
Night-roaming hag,
Swallower of the wheel of heaven.
What is a Troll but that?
