What is a SHAMANIC Nature Journey?
Step into a deeply restorative Shamanic Nature Journey at Caveside Wellness in Gladstone, Oregon, where somatic healing, guided meditation, and nature-based ritual support nervous system regulation and inner connection. Rooted in traditional shamanic practice, this experience invites you into a relaxed, dreamlike awareness—often called the shamanic state of consciousness (SSC)—where insight and intuitive guidance can emerge.
Over the course of 90 minutes, gentle energy clearing, therapeutic touch, and sound healing come together to guide you back to the body, the elements, and the wisdom of the natural world—creating space for deep rest, emotional release, and inner exploration.
Your Nature Journey Experience
1. Arrive & Settle
This gentle, immersive experience invites you to reconnect with the deep nourishment of the natural world. At the beginning of the session, I will gently clear your body using herbs, smoke medicine, and rattles to prepare the space and your energy.
You’ll then be invited to settle into a cozy “nest” prepared just for you—supported by pillows, blankets, and a warming pad—where you can rest comfortably for the remainder of the journey.
2. Connect & Receive
During this ninety-minute experience, I hold space while tenderly supporting and caring for your body so you can soften, rest, and reconnect with the living energies of Nature.
Through guided meditation, we’ll invite connection with the elements, the animal world, and subtle nature spirits that offer guidance and support. Natural elements such as feathers, fire, stones, water, herbs, and essential oils may be incorporated to bring the presence of nature more fully into the space.
Throughout the journey, I offer gentle therapeutic touch—such as laying of hands, still points, rocking, compression, and light brushing—to help calm the nervous system and deepen relaxation.
3. Sound & Integration
The journey concludes with a nature sound bath where I perform Galdr, an ancient Nordic vocal practice. Using my voice alongside my reindeer hide drum, I attune to the subtle energies present in the room, helping guide the experience toward a gentle and grounded completion.
This ritual is designed to soften the illusion that we are separate from the natural world, offering a space where you can reconnect with the elements, remember your place within nature, and receive its quiet support.

1.5 hour One-on-One Shamanic Nature Journey — $150
Includes a 1.5-hour in-person session
You can customize your session for up to 2 hours. If you’d like extra time, additional 15-minute increments — $25 each are available, allowing you to extend your session for deeper work and longer integration.
